We chose Mike Letcher to facilitate our strategic planning process based on past experience with his leadership skills and creative approach to planning and problem-solving in municipal government. Although we’re a nonprofit, the challenges we face with diminishing resources, competing interests and refreshing our entire approach to organizational efficiency in the face of antiquated business practices is universal to many entities, public or private. Mike Letcher provided facilitation services for the City of Goodyear Fall 2012 City Council retreat. Specific topics that were discussed were tax policy and the City’s Strategic Plan. Mike provided excellent technical knowledge and municipal leadership insight as we prepared for these key policy discussions with the City Council. He was extremely professional and responsive during the preparation process, and executed the retreat in a manner that exceeded our expectations. Mike Letcher recently assisted the City of Oceanside in updating its Strategic Plan and compiling budget priorities.
